ROLE: GRAPHIC DESIGN
Our Vice President charged the creative team with developing branded banners that would be viewed across campus. The intent was to create simple, evergreen designs that would not need to be updated frequently.
I worked directly with our Director of Creative Services, as well as an editor, to choose a selection of photos that could be cropped in an extreme vertical format and which would work alongside a basic, branded design. We encountered a number of challenges along the way; budget restrictions, as well as a haphazard light pole system, made it difficult for the banners to read in a cohesive manner. Although we had planned on having the banners hanging in pairs, the brackets puchased prior to this project could only support a single banner per light pole.
